Erik Larsen is Head of Analytics at the Earth Security Group. His key responsibilities include the development of analytical tools and evidence-based insights to advance sustainable development.
Prior to joining the Earth Security Group, Erik worked as a Lecturer in Quantitative Politics at theSchool of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent where he was also a member of the Q-Step Centre. At Kent he taught modules on politics, statistics and data visualization.
In his research, he has studied government policies across the world drawing on and contributing to interdisciplinary work in political science, psychology and sociology. His academic output is
published in journals such as Nature Human Behaviour, British Journal of Political Science, European Journal of Political Research and European Sociological Review.
Erik holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Southern Denmark. During his PhD, he spent a year as a visiting scholar at the Department of Political Science at Duke University.
