In a globalised economy, the combination of scarcity, market pressures and weather volatility will make fertile land an increasingly precious resource.
This report focuses on sub-Saharan Africa where farmland investments are critical given the governance challenges, the lower levels of land tenure by communities, and the fragility of human security.
